Miracle of Exorcism

I have personally conducted hundreds of exorcisms all over the globe, in all kinds of settings. I have conducted private ones and public ones and in doing so have encountered many hundreds of different kinds of evil spirits. I conducted my first exorcism on a teenage devil worshipper, named Lonnie, whom had been bound by demonic forces for many years. My first exorcism lasted a little over three hours. It was a spiritual war unlike anything I had experienced before. Five different demons manifested within this teenager and spoke to me.

This young man held a leadership role in a local satanic group with international ties. He confessed to having indulged in gruesome satanic rituals that involved the killing of animals. He actually worshipped the devil and communed with the demons on a regular basis. He often spoke of seeing them manifesting in various grotesque forms. He also even revealed of his unique supernatural ability to dematerialize and materialize in other places. This young man had dedicated himself to serving the devil and recruiting others into occultism. Even in the midst of these horrific activities God was dealing with his heart and arranged for us to meet. This initial meeting led us to set up another meeting that would involve an exorcism.

A Real Case of Demonic Possession

When I first met up with him to conduct an exorcism demons began to manifest. These were unlike any demons I have ever dealt with. They were extremely blasphemous and violent. They threatened me constantly. A couple of them spoke in strange languages. A few of them even quoted Holy Scripture. These were very powerful spirits. During the first exorcism the evil spirits were able to transform his facial appearance in a ghastly manner. The demons had disfigured his face to the point to where he looked unrecognizable. Some of the demons during the exorcism communicated to one another via sign language and manifested in ghost like forms outside his bedroom window. My prayer team who were assisting me was stunned with these strange supernatural deeds.

The exorcism went on for several hours and we battled them with Scripture and prayer. Eventually we were able to drive the demonic spirits out of him and he confessed Christ as his Savior. Then over the next couple of years we battled more demons that were within him. They were allowed back in his body as a result of him being pulled back into these various satanic groups he was once associated with, where he once again communed with the devil. On a few occasions we tried to relocate him to a different city but the satanic cult interfered. On subsequent visits we battled various evil spirits like "Darkness," "Baal," and other Luciferian spirits. These were powerful spirits that continued to enslave him to all kinds of dark ritualism and blood sacrifices. We continued to pray and fast believing those were the keys to liberate Lonnie from the forces of darkness.

Enduring Attacks from Satan

During this time I was being bombarded by all kinds of attacks. I received all kinds of death threats either through phone messages or letters. I believed the enemy didn't want me to expose this satanic cult to the light of Christ and he was willing to do anything to intimidate me into silence or to kill me. A couple of years after my first encounter with this young man the devil almost accomplished that - to kill me. It happened two years after my initial visit with him. The devil used a neo-Nazi sadistic Satanist to set me up with the hopes of killing me thereby ending my quest to see Lonnie set free from the chains of occultism. This neo-Nazi Satanist surprised me one night with a butcher knife along with a group of Satanists bent on seeing me destroyed. This particular demon possessed individual brought out a large butcher knife and hunted me down with it, placing it inches from my throat. This disturbed man viciously assaulted me verbally. He made it clear he was going to end my life for my stand for Jesus. God gave me incredible peace in the midst of this satanic attack and pulled back the Satanist that wanted to kill me. I was rescued and was able to continue to minister to this young man.

Victory Realized

By God's grace we continued to pray and meet with Lonnie, the young man whom had worshipped the devil, over the course of the next few years battling the dark spirits that held him and enduring more demonic assaults. After years of multiple exorcisms, death threats, and other supernatural activity, Christ prevailed as we humbled ourselves in much prayer and fasting. Lonnie and his family now serve Christ and are members of a local body of believers in their hometown.

The exorcisms we conducted opened my eyes to a whole new realm that I was not really familiar with. It also opened my eyes to the reality of demon possession and the effects thereof. This eye-opening experience was used of God; to further my interest of helping hurting people find freedom from evil spirits through the ministry of exorcism.

What is an Exorcism?

According to the Catholic site, New Advent, exorcism is, "the act of driving out, or warding off, demons, or evil spirits from persons, places, or things, which are believed to be possessed, or infested by them, or are liable to become victims or instruments of their malice." The one conducting the exorcism is usually the exorcist. I see an exorcism as a labor of love and a divine miracle, an act that involves the removal of demons from people, places, and objects. In fact, Jesus Himself viewed the act of driving out of demons as a miracle when He told His early disciples that they ought not to stop anyone from exorcising demons, done in His name.

"Teacher," said John, "we saw a man driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us."

"Do not stop him," Jesus said. "No one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me, for whoever is not against us is for us. I tell you the truth, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to Christ will certainly not lose his reward (see Mark 9:38-41, emphasis is mine).

While on earth Jesus often dealt with demons, He dealt with them everywhere He traveled to: in the synagogues, outside in public with the multitudes, in homes, at the seashore, in every city and village. Jesus forced the demons out with a word and the people were free.

Jesus and Exorcism

The miracle of exorcism was seen in the life of Jesus throughout the Gospels. In Mark 9 we read of Jesus performing an incredible exorcism on a child.

"And when He came to the disciples, He saw a great multitude around them, and scribes disputing with them. Immediately, when they saw Him, all the people were greatly amazed, and running to Him, greeted Him. And He asked the scribes, "What are you discussing with them?"

Then one of the crowd answered and said, "Teacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit. And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not."

He answered him and said, "O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to Me." Then they brought him to Him. And when he saw Him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth.

So He asked his father, "How long has this been happening to him?"

And he said, "From childhood. And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us."

Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."

Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!"

When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, "Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!" Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, "He is dead." But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose.

And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, "Why could we not cast it out?" So He said to them, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting."

Jesus rescuing a soul from demonic torment, is a miracle, it is beautiful; it is His love in action on the behalf of the enslaved. The sacred event of exorcism honors God as it is a ministry Jesus took great interest in, participated in often, and commanded His followers to be involved in.
