God Loves YouOne of the deepest needs humans have is to be loved. So many in our world feel unloved, neglected, abandoned, forgotten, abused, lonely, and without the love of God in their hearts, perhaps you feel this way. If you do then you have come to the right place. The Holy Spirit, the comforter, has guided you here to read of God's great love for you and for you to experience this amazing love. If you have experienced the love of God please allow the below passages from God's Word refresh your spirit with the assurance of His deep love for you. Throughout the pages of Scripture we read of God's great love for us. Let's take a glance at this incredible love God has for us. "...but the Lord your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loves you" (Deuteronomy 23:5). "The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with loving-kindness I have drawn you" (Jeremiah 31:3). "I will heal their backsliding; I will love them freely, for my anger has turned away from him" (Hosea 14:4). "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved" (John 3:16-17). "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another" (John 13:34). "As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love" (John 15:9). "Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us" (Romans 5:5). "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38-39). "But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)..." (Ephesians 2:4-5). "But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit..." (Titus 3:4-5). "He who does not love does not know God, for God is love" (1 John 4:8). "In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins" (1 John 4:10). "...and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood..." (Revelation 1:5). God's great love for you is unfathomable. It has no limits. Even in you present condition, whatever it may be, God cares and desires to place His love into your innermost being. God's love sent Jesus to the cruel cross to die for your sins; He was buried, and then raised from the grave on the third day. God, in His love, is calling on you to turn to Him before dying and going to eternal hell. Simply acknowledge you have sinned against Him (He loves sinners!), repent, and ask God's Son the Lord Jesus to come into your life, to place His love into your heart. Tell God you desire His love: "Dear God, in the name of Jesus, I turn from my sins and ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ died and rose again on my behalf. I invite the loving Savior-the Lord Jesus into my life today. In the name of Jesus I pray." |
