The Mission

Over twenty years ago I surrendered to the Lord Jesus Christ and committed my life to serving Him in the ministry of evangelism. I grew up in a moral church going home but never understood what it meant to have a personal relationship with God. Soon after my mother gave her life to Christ, after attending a revival service in a South Florida church, she handed me a booklet titled, "How to Have Peace with God" by the Dr. Billy Graham. This booklet explained how I could have peace with God through a relationship with Jesus. Knowing I was void of peace and desperately needing Jesus to take control of my life I opened my heart to Him and He came in. God's peace flooded my being and I immediately experienced the presence of Christ in my life. I was extremely happy.

Within months I was invited to join an evangelistic team overseas in traveling to the island of Jamaica to conduct public gospel meetings and to do street evangelism. Though I was hesitant, due to the fact that I was extremely shy, I was nevertheless encouraged by the church to go and to share my faith. I went and the trip changed my life. I had my first opportunity to share Jesus publicly and to actually be used of God to introduce lost souls to Jesus. It was a thrilling experience and God used the trip to burden my heart for lost souls. It was on this trip I began to sense that God was calling me to be an evangelist. My fellow believers on the trip confirmed this calling and challenged me to follow through and so I did.

I am an evangelist. This wasn't anything I conjured or requested. This is a call I received from God above. I fully understood what the apostle Paul meant when he wrote of his divine call in Galatians 1:1, 11:

"Paul, an apostle-sent not from men nor by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead-

I want you to know, brothers that the gospel I preached is not something that man made up."

Like the apostle Paul I was not called by a church, organization, or individual but by my Savior the Lord Jesus Christ and the gospel message that I received was something I had not created or invented but rather was found in God's Word. It is this call that I am willing to risk my life for and have.

This call to be an evangelist has led me to proclaim the gospel throughout the world and to individually lead thousands to new life in Jesus. This call has led me into some dangerous situations and near death but God has been faithful and has allowed me to continue to proclaim His Son's life, death, burial, resurrection, ascension, and second coming.

Our simple mission is to faithfully proclaim the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to the world, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
